Troubleshooting

Your EXO camera is designed to take firmware updates over-the-air as they become available.  As long as your camera is connecting normally and has enough signal and power, then you're all set!  Please continue reading on where to see your camera's current firmware version, and some frequently asked questions.

How to find your camera's current firmware version:

1.  Tap the Devices option from your bottom menu to view your cameras, then tap the Gear icon.

2.  Then, tap Details to reveal your current firmware version and other camera details.

Q:  How do I update my camera's firmware?

A:  You don't.  Your camera is designed to automatically take updates over-the-air as they become available.

 

Q:  If my camera hasn't connected in a few days will it still take the update?

A:  No.  Your camera will need to be actively connecting to take the firmware update.  If your camera hasn't connected in more than 25 hours, you will need to go to the camera to reboot and re-establish the connection.

 

Q:  How much power is needed for my camera to take a firmware update?

A:  Your camera will need a minimum of 25% battery life to take a firmware update.

 

Q:  How strong of a signal is required to take a firmware update?

A:  As long as your camera can connect, it will be able to take the update.
