Troubleshooting
The 12V Camera Power Panel provides external power to compatible traditional FieldNode cameras. If you're experiencing power issues or need to validate whether the panel is functioning properly, follow the steps below.
Issue: Power Validation

Check Battery Indicator:
- Press the battery level indicator button on the panel.
- If no lights come on, charge the panel fully using a Micro USB cord, charging block, and a different wall outlet.
- If lights do appear, continue troubleshooting.

Test Camera with Internal Batteries:
- Disconnect the power panel from the camera.
- Insert new Energizer or FieldNode AA batteries into the camera and attempt to turn it on.
- If the device does not power on, it may be a device issue — contact support.
- If it does power on, the issue may be with the panel — continue troubleshooting.

Recharge and Reconnect:
- Charge the 12V Camera Power Panel fully using a Micro USB cord and a different outlet than usual.
- Reconnect the panel to the device and retest.
Issue: No Power

Charge the Panel Fully:
- Use a Micro USB cord, standard charging block, and a different wall outlet than normally used.
- Wait until the panel is fully charged, then reconnect it to the camera.
