Troubleshooting

- Do you have the device with you?
- If no, please retrieve the device and then begin the troubleshooting steps.
- If yes, proceed below.
- Replace the batteries
- Remove the Timer assembly using the “Eject” button.
- Removal may require moderate force – this is normal and safe. The timer will not be damaged by pulling the assembly directly down.
- Insert 8 NEW AA Alkaline batteries (FieldNode or Energizer brand recommended).
- Do not use rechargeable batteries – they provide less current and can cause power issues.
- Confirm battery orientation
- Ensure batteries are inserted properly. The negative (-) end should face the spring in each compartment.
- If installed incorrectly, reinsert properly and check again.
- Note: Reverse polarity should not damage the timer.
- Check for LCD display
- Once batteries are correctly inserted:
- The LCD screen should illuminate and display 12:00 PM.
- Once batteries are correctly inserted:
- Confirm functionality
- If the LCD is now on:
- The timer should be broadcasting Bluetooth to connect to the app
- Or ready for traditional timer mode
- Perform a test spin using the Test button to confirm the motor is working properly.
- If all works as expected, no further troubleshooting is needed.
