Troubleshooting
The Dual Solar Battery Box provides external power for compatible trail cameras using a solar-assisted rechargeable battery system. If your device is not receiving power or you are unable to validate a connection, follow the steps below based on the issue you're experiencing.
Issue: Power Validation

Check the Battery LED Indicator:
- Blinking red = charging in progress
- Solid red = fully charged

Check Cable and Battery Connections:
- Ensure the power cable is securely inserted into the device.
- Verify the positive (+) and negative (−) wires are tightly connected to the battery inside the box.

Test Device with Batteries:
- Disconnect the Dual Solar Battery Box from the device.
- Insert new Energizer or FieldNode batteries into the device and attempt to power it on.
- If the device does not turn on, the issue may be with the device.
- If the device does turn on, the issue may be with the Battery Box — continue troubleshooting.

Charge and Reconnect:
- Charge the Dual Solar Battery Box fully using a different wall outlet.
- Once fully charged, reconnect to the device and test again.
Issue: No Power

Charge Fully Using a Different Outlet:
- Plug the Battery Box into a different outlet than you normally use.
- Charge until the indicator shows it is fully charged (solid red LED).

Check Wire Connections:
- Ensure the positive and negative wires are properly attached to the internal battery.

Reconnect to Camera:
- Connect the Battery Box back to your camera securely.

Sunlight Check:
- Ensure the panel is placed in with no obstructions.
