Getting a "Device Already in Use" Error? No problem!
If you attempted to activate your device and got the error "Device Already In Use", you will need to contact our support team so we can get this resolved for you. See below for more information.
What Might Have Happened:
- Someone purchased it and took it back to the store before removing it from their account.
- The camera was obtained from an acquaintance, and it wasn't removed from their account.
- You have multiple accounts, and the device is already active on the other account.
What You Need To Do:
- Contact us with the device's Serial Number, Modem ID, and a copy of the receipt from the retailer where it was purchased.
- If you acquired it from an acquaintance, contact them to remove it from their account.
- FieldNode cannot remove a device without verification from the account owner.
- Ensure you don't have multiple FieldNode accounts.
